Not the pure amongst the impure

Neither Moses, nor the Pharoh

Not in the holy Vedas, am I

Nor in opium, neither in wine

Not in the drunkard`s craze

Niether awake, nor in a sleeping daze

Neither clean, nor a filthy mire

نا میں مؤمن وچ مسیتان 

نہ میں  وچ کفر دیا ریتاں 

نہ میں پاکاں وچ پلیتاں 

نہ میں  موسیٰ نہ فرعوں

نہ میں اندر وید  کتاباں 

نہ وچ بھنگاں نہ شراباں 

نہ وچ رہندا مست خراباں 

نہ وچ جاگا نہ وچ سون

نہ وچ شادی نہ غمناکی 

نہ میں وچ پلتی پاکی 

نہ میں آبی نہ میں خاکی 

نہ میں آتش نہ میں پون

نہ میں عربی نہ لاہوری 

نہ میں ہندی شہر ناگوری 

نہ ہندو نہ ترک پشاوری 

نہ میں رهنداں وچ نادان
